Neurogenic Pain Therapy
Neural Prolotherapy is an injection close to subcutaneous (“under the skin”) nerves to restore their normal function through decreasing inflammation around the nerve. When inflammation occurs, nerves normally produce proteins that can be healing or damaging. In the case of chronic pain, these damaging proteins have been produced. These damaging proteins cause a condition called “neuropathic inflammation”. Neural Prolotherapy uses injection of dextrose in low concentration (5%) to reduce neuropathic inflammation.
Neural Prolotherapy is a good treatment for:
Chronic Pain, Back Pain, Neck Pain, Joint Pain, CRPS (chronic regional pain syndrome), TMJ Syndrome, Headaches and Migraines, Long-term Injuries
